CV
Lisa Chicoyne is a teaching artist. Her work encompasses various media from writing and drawing to textiles and ceramics. Her work in ceramics includes the development of unique approaches to materials and surfaces. She has been sought out for her work with paperclay and surface strategies and has provided technical assistance to many artists including Ghada Amer, Judy Hoffman, and Fiona Waterstreet. Her professional experience in the arts spans over thirty years and includes arts administration, exhibition coordination and studio operations. Her work is in numerous collections and has been exhibited nationally. She maintains her studio practice in New Jersey and teaches through Greenwich House Pottery and privately.
